“Lift” is the drive that compels capitalism towards abstraction and away from production. It seems to be allergic to the feedback loop of production to consumption and is disinterested in human & media entanglements. The cascading self abstraction away, aka the lift.
Arbitrage is a process that the Market disdains because it tends towards equilibrium; so Arbitrage requires a Russian doll like structure in order to make room for itself, abstracting away from the literal market.
